Emilia Tunnels

Emilia Tunnels is the EmiliaVision connector for Windows computers at restaurant locations. It helps EmiliaVision support connect approved devices and services without asking restaurant staff to run terminal commands or handle technical setup credentials.

Target audience: restaurant managers, field operators, and on-site support staff.

What you will do

The standard Windows setup is simple:

  1. Download the .zip file provided by EmiliaVision.
  2. Extract the .zip file.
  3. Right-click install-emilia-tunnels.cmd and choose Run as administrator.
  4. Accept the Windows security or administrator prompt.
  5. Wait for the installer window to finish and close.
  6. Use the Emilia tray icon to check status or add a location hint.

No command line is required.

Requirements

Before you start, make sure you have:

  • A Windows 10 or Windows 11 computer.
  • Internet access on that computer.
  • Permission to approve Windows administrator prompts.
  • The Emilia Tunnels download link provided by EmiliaVision.

Do not download Emilia Tunnels from unknown websites. If you are unsure whether a link is valid, contact EmiliaVision support before installing.

What happens after installation

After installation, Emilia Tunnels runs in the background. You do not need to keep the installer window open.

EmiliaVision support may complete the remote setup after the agent appears online. Keep the computer powered on and connected to the internet.
